RELIANT SENTINEL TRAINING SOLUTIONS

LIABILITY WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF CLAIMS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT.

This Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Claims (“Waiver”) is entered into by the undersigned individual (“Participant” or “Renter”) in favor of Reliant Sentinel Training Solutions (“RSTS”), its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates.

1. PURPOSE OF WAIVER

This Waiver applies to the rental and use of night vision devices, thermal devices, digital optics, mounts, accessories, and related equipment, as well as participation in airsoft games, night activities, and associated events.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand and acknowledge that airsoft activities and the use of night vision, thermal, and optical equipment involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Reduced depth perception and limited field of view

  • Disorientation, eye strain, or temporary visual impairment

  • Trips, slips, falls, collisions, and uneven terrain

  • Impact from airsoft projectiles

  • Exposure to bright light or infrared sources

  • Equipment malfunction or failure

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, associated with these activities.

3. EQUIPMENT USE ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge and agree that:

  • Rented equipment is precision electronic equipment

  • Improper use, misuse, or exposure to bright or infrared light may cause permanent damage

  • I am responsible for following all safety instructions and usage guidelines provided by RSTS

  • I will not modify, disassemble, misuse, or allow unauthorized individuals to use the equipment

4. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Reliant Sentinel Training Solutions from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

  • Personal injury

  • Property damage

  • Equipment damage or malfunction

  • Negligence

This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.

5. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR EQUIPMENT

I agree that I am financially responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to rented equipment while in my possession

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions

  • Repair or replacement costs up to the full replacement value of the equipment

Damage caused by improper light exposure, water, impact, or unauthorized use is not considered normal wear and tear.

6. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in airsoft activities and using night vision or thermal equipment. I assume full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred as a result of participation.

7. MINORS

If the Participant is under 18 years of age, this Waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to all terms and assumes full responsibility for the minor’s actions and equipment use.

8. GOVERNING LAW

This Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.

9. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & SIGNATURE

I acknowledge that I have read this Waiver in its entirety, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
